This is what they said about Sues Town Hall tour
Good Morning. Just letting you know how much I enjoyed the Town Hall Tour yesterday with Sue. It was fabulous – a wonderful experience.  Sue was professional, friendly and entertaining – she made the Town Hall come to life and her knowledge was endless. She went beyond what I expected and I can’t wait to go on another one.

This is what they said about Steve Bournes “Welcome to Manchester walk
“Absolutely brilliant!”
Reviewed 25 July 2015
Today was fantastic!!! Steve was the perfect guide, so knowledgable! Was such a great day out, and my gran absolutely loved it. Even better as she usually struggles a little with hearing, so was apprehensive but heard everything clearly. Made her visit to Manchester very memorable. Thanks! I have lived in Manchester for 4 years but never been inside the Town Hall, so it was brilliant to see inside and learn so much about the city!

This is what they said about John Alker’s Formidable Women walk
“What a wonderful way to appreciate the history of the women of Manchester”

The tour was entitled Formidable Women of Manchester led by the also formidable Mr John Alker who truly brought the subject to life during a two hour walk.

Ladies who were not universally as well known as some others soon became equally interesting and admired by the group which did include some gentlemen so that John said he had some protection from the formidable women he was leading around.

The sun was shining, it was pleasantly warm, the group knitted well together so it was a wonderful way to see Manchester, a city where there is always something new to learn about and to appreciate how lucky we are.

I’m sure every one on this walk, 10 Sep 2015,would like to join with me in thanking John for an afternoon very well spent.

This is what they said about Ed Glinert’s Town Hall tour
We were a group of 13 U3A members (all proud Mancunians!) and our tour was led by the brilliant Ed Glinert who managed to re-enforce our love and pride in Manchester.

The Town Hall is a fabulous building and Ed revealed its secrets with wit, humour and a much appreciated “edginess”! A great couple of hours which we would recommend to anyone.
